experience. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, specifically regarding Health
and Location information used by our AI coaching system.
1. Data Collection and Usage
A. Health & Fitness Data (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, we access data from the Apple Health App (HealthKit).
- Data points: Heart rate, step count, VO2 Max, and workout history.
- Purpose: Our AI uses this data to calibrate your training intensity and prevent
overtraining.
- Restriction: We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third-party
marketing platforms.
B. Location Data (GPS) & Weather Integration
To track your runs and provide real-time coaching, we collect precise location data.
- Purpose: To calculate distance, pace, and elevation gain.
- Weather Personalization: We use your current and historical race location data to
retrieve local weather conditions (temperature, humidity, wind speed). Our AI uses this to adjust your
coaching intensity and recovery recommendations based on environmental stress.
- Background Usage: If enabled, we collect location data while the app is in the
background to ensure your run and local weather context are recorded even if your screen is off.
C. AI Processing Data
To provide personalized coaching, certain anonymized data (e.g., "User A ran 5km at 6:00 pace with 150bpm")
may be processed by our AI models.
- Privacy Guard: We strip your name, email, and exact home address coordinates before
sending data for AI analysis.
- Non-Training Clause: We do not allow third-party AI providers to use your personal
performance data to train their general models.
2. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell your personal, health, or location data to any third
parties.
- Service Providers: We only share data with service providers (like cloud hosting or AI
processing) who are contractually bound to keep your information confidential and secure.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
- We retain your training data only as long as your account is active to provide historical progress
reports.
- You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the "Delete
Account" button in the App Settings.
4. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect your data during transit and at rest. However,
no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in AI regulations or App Store requirements. We will notify you
of any significant changes via in-app notification.
